erin + jim | fells point | baltimore engagement session

We started our session in front of one of my favorite buildings along the harbor, Henderson’s Wharf, at dusk…and these two couldn’t have been cuter!

She’s the type of girl who can stop traffic with her shimmery blond hair and girl-next-door sweet smile. He’s one of the sweetest guys you’ll meet…and the way he looks at Erin will melt your heart…

If you know anything about me, it’s that I love color and I don’t shy away from it. In my wardrobe, my home and even in my food, color is where it’s at! However, this may be one of my favorite shots. 🙂

These lovebirds were such a joy to shoot and I had an amazing time walking along the harbor with them. The way they put each other at ease and completely enjoyed each moment is indicative of their gentle and adorable love. Erin + Jim were so cute and photogenic, that our little entourage was the source of some commotion among a group of boaters in Fells Point. True story! They rolled with it though and managed to take some lovely shots along the historic pier.

They’re planning a stunning wedding only a few steps away from here…and live near my favorite park in the city. We had so much to chat about, I didn’t want the evening to end!

I love this series. Love their expression, love the details, just lots of love all over the place.

Fun fact: 2 seconds after I shot the photo of them walking near the Horse You Came In On along Thames St., a roar of Ravens and O’s fans came barreling down the street in the brightest and loudest parade of purple and orange buses/trucks blaring their sirens, that you’d ever seen; it was scary, awesome and totally Charm City at its finest. I was hoping to get a photo of Erin + Jim amongst the crazy fanfare, but it happened so fast that they were gone by the time we realized what was going on!

The perfect way to end a marvelous night = relaxing at the edge of the pier with a whole harbor view. And of course, the love of your life by your side. 🙂
