Don’t worry, the holiday season isn’t here…yet. Although, I can’t believe it’s almost Labor Day…wonder if we’ll have another monsoon-like freak rainstorm or another 100+ degree weekend? I’m probably a bit too excited for cooler fall temps to come and autumn leaves to fall. Combined, they make for some pretty darn fun and good-lookin’ photoshoots. 🙂
This is one of my favorites from last November with the W family.
Anyway, back to gift ideas! That’s the real reason you’re reading this right? Ok, here’s the scoop. A friend of mine recently ventured into the freelance graphic design world and I was lucky enough to have her design my new gift certificates…check. these. snazzythings. out.
I’ve always been a sucker for all things graphic design related. I love how letters, shapes, colors and lines can come together to be something so fun and spirited yet simple and chic all at the same time. Oh, and I suppose it doesn’t hurt to have an adorable toddler making funny faces in the corner…hence the spirited-ness.
To celebrate the debut of Urban Row’s newest feature, I’m throwing in a few gifts of my own for y’all. Any order placed by September 1, for a gift certificate valued at $200 or more, will automatically receive 2 8×10 prints (from the scheduled photosession) FREE! Email firstname.lastname@example.org to order.
A few things to keep in mind:
- gift certificate must be paid in full and photoshoot date scheduled, when placing your order.
- gift certificates expire 90 days from date of purchase (if you’re considering a fall photoshoot, this gives you time to get your photos ready and printed for holiday gifts!).
- I’d love to work with you on any idea you may have (surprise or planned, fancy party or family casual…), no event or milestone is too big or too small to capture.
Here’s some inspiration for any upcoming gift wrapping needs you may have. These photos are courtesy of the bridal shower I went to a few weeks ago – talk about a graphically appealing combo of colors, ribbon and bows. The bride has exquisite taste; her family and friends were sure to make her smile when it came time to rip ’em open.
Up next? You may have seen K+J’s pre-wedding photoshoot sneak peeks on Urban Row’s Facebook page, but of course, there are more photos to share and a blog post in the works. These two were so photogenic and fun to be around. You would have no idea their wedding is fast approaching with the fun-loving and stress-free smiles they brought to Fells Point!
One last announcement – I’m thrilled to attend “Scott Kelby’s Photoshop & Photography: From Focus to Finished” seminar this Friday. It’s as exciting to me as the final Harry Potter movie was to some of you. I’ll be sure to share some of the coolest insider tips I learn. Consider it a loyal reader gift package…minus the red polka dots.
